Learning to Write
July 31, 2008 by Amy Jo.
Allison is learning to write letters at Gymboree. She can definitely recognize her own name and can pretty much write her own name. Below is a sample of the letter practice that she did at Gymboree yesterday.
It is so much fun, as a parent, to watch the development of her little mind. From scribbling her first picture, to her first painting with watercolors, to drawing “people” with extremely long arms, to watching her learning to write her name. It’s amazing. And I am privileged to be a witness.

Allison Says
July 31, 2008 by Amy Jo.
Here’s what my three-and-a-half year old had to say on Saturday after a trip to the post office with Daddy:
ALLISON: Nobody likes the post office.
DADDY: Why don’t people like the post office?
ALLISON: Because it’s boring. It’s just boring. I don’t like it.
