Here’s what I woke up to this morning ~

Over the baby monitor…

CARTER:  Daaaddeeee.  Daaaaaaaaaaddeeee!  Daaaddeee.
ALLISON:  I’ll help you call him, “Daddy.  Daddy!”

Daddy is getting out of the shower while this is going on and calls back to them…

DADDY:  I’ll be there soon!
ALLISON  (quietly):  He’ll be here soon, Carter.

While she was here, Aunt Cathy influenced me to start knitting a poncho for Allison.  Allison and I picked out the pink yarn together - because pink is her favorite color.  Take look at the picture - what a cute little girl!  I had just finished the poncho and Allison wanted to wear it, despite the 100+ degree weather.  I think it will be great for our Arizona winters!!
