Carter gets to watch.  He’d love to get a chance to push the buttons on the keyboard, but so far his hasn’t had a day without a time-out.  Poor Carter.  It’s hard to be so little and have big people around that tell you, “no” when all you did was hit your sister with a toy.

ALLISON (disappointed):  Am I dirty?
DADDY:  Yes, but not as dirty as Carter.
ALLISON (sadly):  Very dirty?

I knitted a sweater for Allison!  A complete sweater!  And it only took me about a week and a half!  I said before… I am knitting like crazy!  Next on the knitting list - a matching sweater for Carter.

I was told, once, that I always have a disclaimer in which I point out the flaws in whatever I have done…  So I am going to refrain from doing that here and instead just be thrilled with my accomplishment.  I’ve only been knitting since August!  Considering that, this sweater is darn near perfect!

My 3 year old daughter just finished watching “The Spectacular Spiderman” cartoon on TV and has now moved onto “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles”.  (Both shows are rated Y-7, although I think Y-12 would be more accurate. And this is a rare treat to be allowed to watch these cartoons.)

How can my little girl who’s favorite color is pink also be such a big fan of superheros?  The superhero part is from her Daddy.  I’ll take credit for the pink girly girl part.

Earlier this week, Allison said, “Mom, I’m winking.”  When I looked at her face, all I saw was a scowl.  I didn’t let her know this, of course.  Instead, I praised her for her great winking ability and asked her to do it again for the camera.
