Tucked In

I am sure every Mom worries about the kids being warm enough at night…  Here’s my story:

Allison is wearing long sleeved PJ’s and in covered up with a sheet, a comforter, and a fleece tie blanket.  She insists on all the covers.  We keep the thermostat at 72 degrees.  If I turn it up to 74 at night, she sweats.

Carter, on the other hand, is wearing short sleeved PJ’s (with long pants at least!), has three blankets in his crib and he’s laying on top of two of them.  I re-covered him with the third.  Last night he was on top of all three.  What’s a Mom to do?!!  He’s going to wake up shivering!  And, yet, I don’t think he does.  He just curls into a tight little ball and keeps himself warm.

Despite my worries, I don’t think either of them mind the warm or cold.  My babies are sleeping peacefully.
