Last night we were listening to the kids on the monitor after we put them to bed.  Allison was singing the ABC’s to Carter.  After some silence, around 8 pm, we heard:

ALLISON: Carter, are you awake? Wake up!

The Night Owl’s little brother had fallen fast asleep.

This morning at 6 am, over the monitor, we heard:

Carter: Wup! Wup!

The Early Bird was trying to wake his sister up.

At preschool yesterday, Allison tasted apples.  Red, green, and yellow.  Then she chose red as her favorite kind of apple!  She also painted a picture of a red apple and got to use a sliced red apple as a stamp!  (The seed pod in the apple makes a star stamp - sort of.)

What a fun a clever learning activity!
