Carter’s Bedtime Routine

 Life is wonderful for a little boy - until Mom and Dad decide that it’s his bedtime…

First he tries:
          No.  Bed.  No Daddy, no Daddy!  Downstairs!

Next he tries:
          Play now!  Plaaaay noooow! 

Once in bed, he tries:
          Juice.  Juiiiicccceeee!  Juice please!!

When that doesn’t work, he moves on to:
          Watch.  TB.  Downstairs.  Watch TB.  Now!     (TB is “TV”.)

As a last ditch effort he pleads:
          He-he.  Tuck-in.  He-he.  Tuck-in!     (He-he is “blanket”.)

He’s a smart kid.  Each of his pleas has worked once.  Maybe if he keeps trying, someday, it will work again.
