Sick Kids

This was the scene earlier today…
Two sick kids buckled in their car seats with blankets tucked around them looking almost pathetic - if they weren’t happily sucking on lollipops and wearing Nemo stickers from the doctors office.
Allison has been running a fever for two days. Carter has a fever and has been rubbing his right ear. I took Carter to the doctor and he has the start of an ear infection. The doctor gave us a prescription for antibiotics. I’m waiting a day or so for Allison - her only symptom is a fever so I’ll wait and see if she improves in the next day or so. If not, we’ll head back to the doctor.
Carter’s a little more mellow than normal (it’s rather pleasant, actually), but other than that most of the time they seem fine!
