The kids had a very busy day today…  Lowes in the morning.  Bouncers in the Walmart parking lot.  Then short naps and an evening at my Moms group babysitting fundraiser.  They were tuckered out when we picked them up at 8 pm!  But just as Carter was starting to doze off, Daddy asked:

DADDY:  Carter are you asleep?
CARTER:  No.
DADDY:  Are you awake?
CARTER:  No.

Both kids eventually feel asleep…  When we got home, we carried them up to bed, tucked them in, and asleep they stayed.

(Jim and I had a great date night while the kids played at the babysitting fundraiser…  I told them it was a special play time for kids and that Mommys and Daddys were not allowed to stay.  -They bought that.  Carter looked a little confused when we left him, but he did really well!  He was crawling around pretending to be a dragon when we arrived to pick them up. -He has a very scary dragon roar, you know!)

A couple days ago, here’s what Allison had to say about Carter’s ear infection…

Carter gets another infection.  First he had the bottom infection, now he has the ear infection.  Oh man.
