Pink Eye AND An Ear Infection

Allison is counting infections to make sure that she and Carter are even.  She’s diligently working on catching up to him. 

She now has pink eye in the other eye and an ear infection that caused tears yesterday.  She was actually crying at lunch yesterday because her ear hurt and when she said, “Why does it have to hurt so much?”  I made a bee-line for the Tylenol and then the phone for a doctor appointment.  The doctor looked in her “good ear” and said, “Wow!  That’s red.”  Then he looked in the ear that was hurting her and said, “That would hurt!”

She’s now got eye drops for both eyes and the yummy pink medicine for the ear infection. 

We’re hanging close to home today in an effort to keep our germs to ourselves.
