Carter has discovered that the “I love…” phrase makes Mommy smile.  So here’s a list of what he loves so far today:

I love street sweepers.
I love mine shoes.
I love A’s Valentine candy.

The “I love” is so clearly spoken and so sweet.  I tried to get him to say, “I love Mommy…” but so far, no luck on that!

Daddy introduced Allison to Star Trek last week.  They were watching and episode with a very impolite empress who never said please or thank-you.  Captain Kirk was scolding the empress and trying to teach her to be nice.  Allison had gotten up from a nap and watched a snack while she was watching TV with Daddy:

DADDY: Do you think Captain Kirk can teach her to be nice?  I hope he can.

ALLISON:  I hope I can eat on the couch.
