I made this for Carter’s room out of dinosaur stickers and scrapbook paper… and a little help from my husband who suggested that I make a volcano and helped with the final positioning of the dinos. (That husband of mine is a creative guy!)
The Creating Keepsakes scrapbooking convention was in the Phoenix area (Glendale, AZ) in early October. If you’ve never been to a scrapbooking conventions, let me tell you – it is too much fun! There is shopping at the HUGE vendor faire, classes to take, and crops to attend. So, this picture is one days worth of projects that I did! Not included are 10 on-page layouts from the Thursday Night Sketches Crop and the cards and 2-page spread from the classes we took on Sunday!
Crazy fun for a scrapbooker!!
I just completed my first four scrapbook pages of the new year!
I am very proud of myself for two reasons…
My inspiration was the Creating Keepsakes magazine. And the Creating Keepsakes Convention that I went to last fall. It has really changed my scrapbooking style. I’m lovin’ it!
UPDATE 1/7/2008: A comment from “Mary” provided this website, which creates fonts for free! www.yourfonts.com Thank-you!
Creating Keepsakes magazine pointed me to this really cool website. At www.fontifier.com, you can use your own handwriting to create a font.
Great tool for scrapbookers! I can use the font I created for journaling. It works in Microsoft Word – I can change the size, make it bold or italics, change the color, etc. And if I make a mistake – just backspace and correct it before I print the final copy! When I am done, it will be neat and clean journaling in my own handwriting! Very cool!

ALLISON’S SCRAPBOOKING
Notice the pictures of Carter with his “hop-hop” (left) and with the toy vacuum (right).
* In the interest of full disclosure, I have to admit that my scrapbooking was
from a page kit – very little imagine required since it came with all the
supplies and a color picture of how to assemble it. Allison’s scrapbooking
came purely from that beautiful little imagination of hers!
